How the fee is calculated
The formula is straightforward: your fee = coefficient (as a decimal) × total budget. The coefficient as a decimal is your percentage divided by 100. If the annual budget is €24,000 and your coefficient is 2.35%, your annual fee is 24,000 × 0.0235 = €564 a year, that is, €47 a month.

Where do I find my participation coefficient?
On your property deed and in the building's founding deed. It is expressed in hundredths (a percentage).
Can I pay less if my flat is smaller?
Your coefficient already reflects the usable area of your home: the lower the coefficient, the lower the fee. You pay exactly your coefficient times the cost, unless the deed or bylaws set a different split.
